We were amazingly blessed to have of Jay & Barbara Shelbrack, leaders of the Chicago Church preach to the Sydney church, Barbara spoke with an inspirational tone which gave the church a great opportunity to reflect on how God’s planning has led all of us to the greatest peace possible – in Christ. Jay did a phenomenal lesson entitled “Isaac Transferring Our Faith!” With charisma, humor, deep conviction and such wisdom, God used him to cut our hearts with the Word and helped us to see how we can practically change to be “the real deal” as Christians in our examples to non-believers all around us. It was so incredibly refreshing to have them with us!
At Sunday Service, many of our dearest friends and family came to share in a good time of being amongst a spiritual Christian family and for a perfect picnic of favorite foods and volleyball afterward! We had the highest attendance yet of 57, and literally, from the pulpit you could the see the drastic change in the depth of how much more the room was filled! Encouragingly, many were open to studying the Bible and God even used the picnic and volleyball to evangelise more friends we had not even met yet! To God be all the glory – He is eternally faithful and praiseworthy!
