On the morning of June 13th, our God was glorified around the globe through the International Day of Mercy. In the Sydney Mercy branch our volunteers had the opportunity to partner with an organization, Clean Up Australia, to help clean a public beach. God provided us with a beautiful morning, and the volunteers returned the gift by beautifying his creation. In two hours 23 cheerful volunteers were able to gather mountains of trash, garden near landscapes, and survey the area for sharp objects and glass while enjoying the fellowship of friends and family. It began with a song and a prayer, and it ended with a clean beach; both glorifying our God!
