This past Sunday we welcomed our first islander sister from New Zealand, Esther, into the Kingdom of God! Esther, at 19 years old, came to Australia with her older sister. She was reached out to by our amazing brother Sean Valenzuela on the street while she was working. From then on she began coming out to music ministry and sharing her many talents with the disciples. Esther battled between her desire to dance, family and her longing to know God. After four months of coming around church and wrestling with the scriptures, she decided that there was no other way to live life, than through God and his word. Esther was baptized Sunday at 2pm in Rozelle Bay. It was a great joy to see this incredibly beautiful and talented woman make Jesus Lord of her life. God willing, in the near future, Esther also hopes to be part of the New Zealand mission team sent out from Sydney. Welcome to the Kingdom of God, Esther!
