Clap your hands, ALL YOU NATIONS; shout to God with cries of joy.” Psalm 47:1 This past Saturday at Manley Beach the Campus Ministry witnessed another baptism! Chinese student Shaun (aka “Z”) made Jesus Lord after studying the bible with Dean and Sean of the Macquarie Campus Ministry. Z is a 18 year old high school student from Hong Kong. He was met and became great friends with teen disciples Edward and Vatherine, two young and zealous students from China. After wrestling with the standard the bible calls disciples, Z went away for a few weeks thinking about if he had the heart and courage to , “give up everything” to follow Christ. Z eventually came back to church fired up and determined to be a biblical Christian! He counting the cost with the campus brothers and was baptized Saturday morning October 23rd in the name of jesus Christ “for the forgiveness of his sins and received the gift of the Holy Spirit”! Congratulations Z!
