“We had the privilege of seeing two amazing additions to God’s kingdom last week! Jessica Lai and Alex Kruez both studied the bible and were baptised into Christ Jesus!
Jessica is a spunky and spirited girl is one of Kandice’s best friends from Honk Kong. Jessica came over to visit Kandice for a couple of weeks and started to study the bible with the girls! In a short three week time period we saw God completely work in her heart and life, as she decided to give up going on the rest of her travel journey and back to Hong Kong, as she decided to make Jesus Lord of her life, stay in Sydney, and devote her life to her new purpose.
Alex is a talkative sales rep that just happened to walk into one of the disciple’s offices during work hours. Star, who is a sister in the single’s ministry, naturally invited him out to church. Alex wrote down wrong start time and arrived at church after it had ended. However, he eagerly agreed to study the bible that same day! After two weeks of studying and showing radical repentance, with the heart of the Ethiopian eunuch “…what can keep me from the waters of baptism”, Alex was baptised at Coogee Beach!
