Dreamers for Asia: Uka, James, and Ray are Baptised!

Our sister Naomi (Nasanjargal) shares for her friend, fellow countryman, and soon-to-be brother in Christ Uka (Uuganbaatar)!

Uuganbaatar, or “Uka” (pronounced ‘Oh-kah’) for short, is originally from Mongolia, moved to Australia a few years ago and is currently own his own construction company. He is a very passionate man who loves people and is always willing to give and help supply others’ needs. After studying the bible, Uka now has a passion and willingness to also give and help supply others’ spiritual needs for God!

Uka (left) was followed soon after by James (right)!

James from mainland China came to Australia to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Translation. He was met by Tim in October 2017 and started to attend bible talk and church services. At that time, James did not have any particular beliefs that he followed and considered himself an atheist. The one thing that moved James the most was the warmth and the great relationships of the Christians. He soon figured out that Christianity is the only hope for humanity and decided to make Jesus lord of his life after he thoroughly studied out the scriptures with the brothers.

James is baptised!

Thank God for our new brother!

A week later, Ray Xie, a native Sydneysider fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese doing his second degree in nursing at UTS decided to make Jesus Lord! This is not only an answered pray for his ministry on UTS but as well for Ray as he was praying to meet true Christians. The love of the disciples helped inspire him but it was ultimately the word of God that transformed him. Welcome to the family Ray!

Ray shares his experiences studying the bible and being transformed!
