Elias is a 34 year old Lebanese PhD candidate at the prestigious University of Sydney. Growing up in western Sydney, Elias was introduced to God from attending a very traditional Lebonese Maronite church with his family. Elias is the oldest of 4 siblings and due to difficulties at home, had to grow up quite fast. He mentions that as he got older, he began to question many things he did not understand about church and seeking God. Once in university, Elias devoted the majority of his time to studies in medicine/ pharmacy.
About 5 years ago, he became very serious about trying to find “the right church” where he would be able to grow in his relationship with God. Last year Sydney Uni disciple many had met Elias while on campus sharing and invited him to the young professionals bible discussion.
