Rita wife to Ronal who recently got baptised, has been studying a PhD in chemisty at Macquarie University over the last 2 years whilst her husband Ronal was still in their home country Fiji. Rita is originally of a Hindu faith but having met and married Ronal, a believer, she was introduced to Christianity. Having witnessed the transformation in her husband as he studied the Bible with our wonderful North region brothers, she concluded that she wanted to also search for the truth and within 2 weeks joined her husband and was baptised into our beautiful family.
Additionally, Simila, mother of Ronal, a retired teacher from Fiji, joined Ronal and Rita here in Sydney after the recent death of her husband. With a humility like none other, she too realised through her son’s eagerness towards the scriptures and the change that followed, she was not right by God. Simila quickly joined the studies with Rita in the hopes of being truly united with the God she had grown to love over the years, yet had not known properly.
It was truly a pleasure to study with two women who displayed such “Berean” like qualities and with all excitement we welcome this Fijian trio into our beautiful Kingdom family
