It is such a joy to baptize Cindy into the Kingdom! Cindy was born and raised in Fiji and is of Chinese background. She is currently studying foundations at University of New South Wales. Cindy grew up with atheist parents and had little exposure to Christianity. However, despite this she felt a tug in her heart to figure out who God is and what it means to be a Christian. Earlier this year she was met by our Samoan sister, Berek, on campus. Cindy came to a couple of bible talks, but at that time felt her life was too busy to pursue a relationship with God. Yet, in that time she had made a vow to God to one day seek him. Little did she know that day would be sooner than she thought. Just a couple of months later, another sister met her on campus. She knew this was not just a coincidence, so from that day she decided to pursue God and in just three weeks she studied the bible and got baptized! We’re so excited to see how God will use Cindy to advance the kingdom!
