Bethany works at the University of Sydney and was invited to the USYD Friday night bible talk at the beginning of the year. God worked in her heart and life throughout the year, and she finally came out in November. After coming and meeting everyone, she humbly agreed to study the Bible as she saw her need for direction and clarity in her relationship with God. She willingly met up almost daily in the morning, before work, to study the scriptures. She wrestled to change her thinking and fight for the truth to become a disciple, and was broken and changed by the power of the cross. We were all so excited to see her get baptized at Maroubra Beach after church this past Sunday, as she is an answered prayer for so many of us! Congratulations Bethany!
