On a cold Autumn afternoon at Maroubra Rock Pool we witnessed Marin Lee get baptised in Christ! Marin is a UNSW student from China who has a big heart to love people. Initially he didn’t want to come to church, but after much persuading and love from the brothers studying the Bible with him, he made the jump to come with faith after his exams were done! After coming to the church’s “push service”, he experienced the love of the disciples and was convicted that he did not know how to love! With this in mind, he pursued a relationship with God with the help of the brothers in the east region and sought after Him with his whole heart! Despite challenge after challenge, Marin overcame the barriers and got baptised on Sunday the 30th May, 2021! Welcome to the kingdom Marin!
