Charlene is an accounting student pursuing her master degree at UNSW. Having gotten a taste of Christianity in China, she was very keen to attend the Friday bible talk when she was invited. As she continued to come to all the church services and gatherings and continued to study the Bible, she gradually understood what it means to follow God and live as a disciple. Charlene is a truth seeker. It was quite a challenge for her to believe in God and the Bible initially, having come from a non-believing background. However, to find out whether Christianity is the truth, she read her bible and prayed diligently, asked many good and deep questions, and took the initiative to do research on bible’s truthfulness and Jesus. As she was earnestly seeking God, her doubts and fear were finally overcome by her desire for a long-lasting relationship with God. Charlene made a decision to repent, be baptized and make Jesus as Lord of life!
